About Wild Apricot
What is Wild Apricot?
Wild Apricot is web-based software for small associations and non-profits to help manage membership, website, events and other activities. It is "cloud" software, meaning it runs through a web browser without needing to install anything on your local computer. Since our focus is small organizations, we've designed Wild Apricot to be both powerful and affordable, with pricing plans starting at just $40 per month.
Who uses it?
Professional, business and trade associations, chambers of commerce, non-profits, charities, clubs and community organizations all use Wild Apricot. Our system supports any size organization from just a few members or contacts all the way up to 15,000. And if your organization has multiple chapters or branches that need their own separate website and database, we offer volume discount rates for multiple accounts.

Who's behind it?
Wild Apricot was a product of BonaSource Inc., originally a custom web application company. Bonasource Inc was established in 2001 with headquarters in Toronto, Canada where we remain today. Wild Apricot software was launched in 2006.
Having worked with a number of small associations and non-profits, BonaSource recognized that while these organizations would benefit from simplifying and automating their day-to-day tasks, custom software (which can cost tens of thousands of dollars to develop) was out of their reach. We developed Wild Apricot to help these organizations, and we're very proud to say that as of April 2013, more than 6,000 are paid customers, with thousands more using our free ad-supported version. Because of this success, the BonaSource name has been phased out and we no longer do custom software work - we are now 100% dedicated to Wild Apricot, and have officially changed our name to operate under Wild Apricot Inc.
What's our philosophy?
We listen. We care. We respond.
Listening and responding to our customers is a critical part of everything we do - we're here to make your life easier! Our technical support is not outsourced, but is handled by our excellent in-house team. In addition to our four full-time support staff, many other Apricots participate directly in support including Dmitry Buterin, our Chief Apricot. Any other companies you deal with where the president or CEO answers support emails? We didn't think so.
Listening to customers is also key to our development process. Problems reported in support or features requests made in our community forums are the most important factors shaping what we develop and improve. New releases of Wild Apricot happen automatically every few months, and as a result our quality and reliability is consistently rising according to our regular customer surveys.
Our customer respect also extends to our sales process - or rather, lack of it. We believe our product and support speaks for itself. That's why we don't have pushy sales-people or negative-option billing. We offer a 30-day free trial including full support, and we only ask for an email address -- no credit card, no phone number, nothing else. Try us out and if you like us (which we think you will!) sign-up up for an account. If not, you'll get a few more reminder emails but no hard sell, we promise.
We also try to facilitate the sharing knowledge and advice for the broader community of associations, non-profits and other member-driven organization. Is my data safe with Wild Apricot?
Wild Apricot NEVER sells or shares any personal information about you or your members to any outside organization. Our revenues come only from subscription fees and online ads displayed on free accounts.
All data is backed-up each night and stored in multiple locations.
You own your data - you can download all your member, contact, event and financial data at any time into Excel-compatible spreadsheets.
