Update from the Support Team

New Quick Customization panel

From the Colors and styles screen, you can change the colors and fonts of elements that appear throughout your site. To make website customization faster and easier, the most customized settings now appear in a quick customization panel.

From the quick customization panel, you can change site backgrounds, colors for selected text elements, and styles for selected gadgets. Any changes you make here will be reflected in the full colors and styles settings.

To return to the full colors and styles settings, click the All settings option.

For more information on the quick customization panel, click here

You can now undo and redo changes to your colors and styles settings.

To undo your most recent change within the current editing session, click the Undo icon.

You can undo a change even after saving or canceling the changes to your current editing session. You can even undo the Save, Cancel, and Reset all to default functions themselves. After undoing a change, you can use the Undo icon to undo the previous change.

To redo a change after undoing it, click the Redo icon to the right of the Undo icon.

Please note that you cannot undo or redo changes after leaving the current editing session.

Limitations on clone sites

Setting up a clone site is a great way to test possible changes to your site without altering your actual site. However, remember that when we clone your site, we are not making an exact copy and any changes you make cannot be copied over to your live site. The differences between your clone site and your live site include the following:

  • Only one full administrator is copied.
  • Events are not copied.
  • Financial data, email logs etc. will not be copied.
  • The SiteAlbums folder is not copied
  • The cloned site is set up as a free Trial account for 30 days so you may encounter different restrictions from your existing site.

    Meet the Team

    Ellen Craig, Manager- Demand Generation

Ellen Craig HeadshotHi all, I’m Ellen. I’ve been on the marketing team at Wild Apricot for just over two years now. My role is to manage all our advertising efforts and look after the Wild Apricot website. I attended and spoke at Personifest in Savannah, GA in 2019. I enjoyed the experience of meeting some of you face-to-face and hearing all about your organizations. The work each of you are doing is wonderful, and I’m honored to be part of a company that is dedicated to helping you.

I grew up on a farm north of Toronto in Craighurst, Ontario. I moved to Toronto in 2017 after graduating from university. Living in a downtown condo is very different from life on a farm. In my free time, I like to sing in a choir and spend time outside. I have two cats and recently got a puppy. They are keeping me busy during these difficult times.

My time at Wild Apricot has been such a blast, and I’ve made many lifelong friends and mentors along the way. I can honestly say working at Wild Apricot is as fun as it looks!

    Organization Spotlight

This month, our featured organization is:

    ArtWalla

ArtWalla is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the Arts as an integral part of daily life, education, and economic development in the Walla Walla Valley. ArtWalla is dedicated to collaborative participation, Arts advocacy, and dynamic membership services.

The organization does a great job of incentivizing people to support its COVID-19 recovery program by having a pop-up on its home page asking visitors to either donate, sign up for an online class, or attend a virtual art tour.
