How to Keep Donors Happier Longer: Use Strategic Stewardship to Get More and Bigger Gifts

Apr 14th, 2016
1:00 PM (EDT)

This webinar is all about how strategic donor-centered stewardship will improve your donor retention. This is big! If you can retain just 10% more of your supporters you can TRIPLE the lifetime value of these same donors.

It’s much easier to get a second gift from current donors than to get a new gift from relative strangers. It’s more cost-effective too. Yet nonprofits on average retain only 43% of their donors (and only 19% of 1st-time donors). For every 100 donors gained, nonprofits on average lose 103. More than a fifth of current donors will give less next year. This is not a sustainable funding strategy.

You need a goal-oriented strategic donor retention and upgrade plan. One that incorporates tried-and-true relationship-building principles. One that keeps donors SATISFIED, because research shows this is the number one reason they stick around.

And here’s the good news: You’re in charge! You just need to learn how to keep your donors happy. Want to get off the treadmill and march forward with confidence? You can, and you will. Get started with this webinar!
Learning objectives:

  • How to persuade leaders that retention is a top priority
  • How to set up your next gifts strategy
  • How to build your ongoing relationship-building strategy
  • How to build your gratitude culture
  • How to use 7 drivers of donor commitment
  • How to get additional and upgraded current donor gifts
