Mission-Driven Volunteering Webinar - Nov. 4th

Volunteers are an essential resource for small membership organizations. Yet many associations, clubs and non-profits struggle to recruit, manage and motivate their volunteers. That is why Wild Apricot is focusing on volunteers in the premier session of our free Expert Webinar series.

In working with thousands of small associations, clubs and non-profits, and through our Small Membership Advisory Community, we’ve recognized that the volunteers and staff leading these groups are looking for insight, information, best practices and actionable tips to help themselves and their organizations succeed. So we're launching a series of free webinars to help. Here are the details of our first Expert Webinar:

In this webinar, presenters Elizabeth Weaver Engel, M.A., CAE (Spark Consulting LLC) and  Peggy Hoffman, CAE (Mariner Management & Marketing LLC), will take a new look at how we approach volunteerism at small membership organizations.

Opening the Door to Mission-Driven Volunteering

Volunteers have changed – have you changed your approach to engaging volunteers? Topping the list of challenges for most small membership organizations is volunteerism from recruitment to training to reward and recognition. And all this ties into member engagement.

This webinar will inspire you to take a new look at how you approach volunteerism in your association, club or non-profit, to one that results in greater member engagement and satisfaction, lower costs, faster turn-around, and laser focus on work that advances the mission of the organization.

In this conversation, we’ll explore Mission-driven volunteering, a new model that allows associations and our volunteers to focus our limited resources, measuring everything we do by how well it supports and contributes to the mission of our organizations. You’ll hear examples from other small associations and learn about some tools (free ones too) to help your association embrace adhocracy and micro-volunteering.

  • Takeaway 1: Understand the problems with the current model of volunteering.
  • Takeaway 2: Articulate the benefits of mission-driven volunteering.
  • Takeaway 3: Explore small and larger strategies for optimizing volunteerism.

Registration is limited so sign-up soon!

This free webinar was created to offer insight and practical ideas for small membership organizations, with a special focus on the needs of Wild Apricot’s clients and our Small Membership Advisory Community. However, all of the volunteers and staff of small associations, clubs and non-profits are welcome to participate.
