Wild Apricot 4.4 is here!

While most of us were (hopefully!) enjoying our weekend, a dedicated team of techie Apricots were hard at work launching version 4.4. This release includes a number of updates and enhancements, including:

Secure web access with HTTPS/SSL

  • While payments have always used secure encryption, we've added the option to use SSL encryption throughout your site. Sites that use custom domains have the option of purchasing a custom security certificate that we can install for a separate charge.

Email templates

  • We now provide a large selection of email templates. Our hope is that this will make Wild Apricot more attractive for newsletters and other communications.

Sales Taxes

  • Sales or value-added tax schemes are now supported for membership and event payments. Each organization can customize these according to their region and circumstances.

Updated PayPal and Google payment options

  • We've updated the options for PayPal and Google to keep up-to-date with their newest enhancements, including PayPal Express Checkout, PayPal Direct Payment and Google Wallet.

If you're a Wild Apricot customer, you already have access to these and a number of other updates. If you're not, give Wild Apricot a try -- you can sign-up and get instant, totally free access for 30 days.

There were tons of other smaller enhancements, for example:
    - Next/Previous buttons to browse and update through any search results set
    - Event organizer email to receive replies and registrations for a particular event
    - Date type field

4.4 allowed me to save the customized email templates for all of our e-newsletters. I also love the different screen size previews. Thankyouthankyouthankyou.
