Wild Apricot 4.3 has arrived!

Like all our upgrades, this one was delivered 'automagically' to all paid, free and trial accounts. After a few glitches in the upgrade we're happy to say that it seems to be working smoothly -- however if you have any problems, please contact our hardworking support Apricots immediately.

So, what's new in 4.3? Here's a quick overview:

Online self-service improvements
  • All members and contacts can now login to their Wild Apricot account to view their transactions, pay any outstanding balance, change their email preferences and more. For more information, see these help docs:
Email bounce handling improvements
  • Email delivery status is now tracked for all emails. Administrators no longer recieve every email bounce in their inbox but can search for contacts with email delivery problems, and the system now automatically disables contacts with persistent delivery problems. See:
Easier reactivation of lapsed membership
  • Individuals with lapsed, archived or suspended membership status may now automatically reactivate their account online, rather than contacting and administrator to do it manually. See:
 Payment settings and workflow improvements
  • To increase the flexibility of the payment system, a number of changes have been made. These include generation of an invoice for every transaction, and the ability for members and contacts to make partial payments for all outstanding transactions, including ad-hoc invoices. Administrators can now also manually charge credit cards. See:

Flexible layout template

  • A new design theme (Gray) with a 'flexible' layout, meaning that page width will not be fixed but will instead expand/shrink depending on the visitor screen resolution.

Of course, all this and much more is just for Wild Apricot users. Not using Wild Apricot yet? What are you waiting for?!? Sign up for an instant free trial today.
