"Boomers" are generally well educated, wealthy and skilled individuals who have already proven their willingness to volunteer - with nearly a third of Boomers volunteering for formal organizations. But to take advantage of this "untapped resource of extraordinary proportions" organizations need to rethink how they attract and utilize Boomer volunteers.
