Do you have advice to share with non profit organizations who want to more effectively recruit, engage, connect, manage their members online? Well, then, this note is for you!
Wild Apricot Blog is delighted to be hosting the Nonprofit Blog Carnival for June 2010. (Last month’s blog carnival was hosted by Mark Horowitz at Helping Help, on the topic of how non profits can provide value to constituents – a timely topic indeed, in this age of increased demand for accountability across the not-for-profit sector!) Our theme for the June edition will be (ta-dah!):
Managing Your Membership – Tips, Tools and Tactics.
You’re invited to submit your best recent blog posts for consideration any time before 25 June (that’s the last Friday in the month, easy to remember) – and on Wednesday, 30 June, we’ll present a round-up of the most useful, practical, creative, and inspiring blog posts here on the Wild Apricot Blog.
What kind of blog post would be a good fit?
What has your experience taught you, or what have you learned from others, that could help a member-based organization reach out to prospective members online, and use technology to better manage (engage, conntect with, retain) the members they already have?
Managing Your Membership – Tips, Tools and Tactics might include:
- Case studies
- Strategic plans
- Tech tools
- Best practices
- The voice of experience
- Wild ideas in the “what if” category
– anything goes!
(Because this is Wild Apricot and we’re all about the “little guys,” however, you’ll likely get big bonus points for low-budget, low-staff-time tips that can work for small organizations with limited resources.)
What’s in it for you?
Entering a blog carnival is one of the quickest and easiest ways ways to bring new traffic to your blog and help raise its online profile. If your post is selected for inclusion in the carnival round-up, you’ll get a backlink to your blog post (nice for search engines) and the chance to get your writing in front of new readers.
Sounds good?
To submit your blog post for consideration, please use the short-and-easy Blog Carnival form at http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit_318.html or email your permalink to nonprofitcarnival@gmail.com with “Blog Carnival Submission” in your subject line. Deadline for submissions: Friday, 25 June 2010.
Update: 30 June 2010
