Bring Your Nonprofit Success Stories to the Blog Carnival

Lori Halley 30 April 2008 0 comments

Wild Apricot is pleased to be hosting the Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants on Monday, 5 May 2008, and the theme will be "Web 2.0 Nonprofit Success Stories"

Tell us how you're using the Internet -- and specifically Web 2.0 tools and technologies -- to overcome challenges and meet your organization's goals. Share your excitement, your discoveries, the things that make you say, "There, now -- that's why we're on the Internet!" In short, tell us your Web 2.0 Nonprofit Success Stories.

And however you choose to define "success" is up to you: It could be as simple as learning to embed a map on your group's website, to help people find their way to your event -- or as ambitious as creating a full-fledged custom mashup to serve a special need.

Did your video rock YouTube?

Have you met your fundraising goals with a Facebook campaign?

Did your Twitter contacts lead you to valuable new resources, or help to solve a technical problem on the fly?

If the Internet has helped your organization to save time, to save money or to find it, to serve your members better or to reach a new audience -- we want to hear about it!

How to Participate

The Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants is a collection of the best advice and resources that consultants and other support organizations offer to nonprofits through their blogs each week.

Would you like your blog to be included in this carnival?  Here's all you do:

  1. Write a blog post to tell your success story (or choose a recent post that fits the theme).
  2. Go to BlogCarnival.com to submit your post using the form there - or or send an email to npc.carnival AT yahoo DOT com with your name, your blog’s name and the URL of the post (not your blog homepage).

The deadline is Friday, May 3rd, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
