As you might know, we practice (and preach) Agile software development - which means that Wild Apricot software gets updated every few weeks based on feedback we collect and prioritize from all of our clients. (Read more about our development philosophy

A new version of Wild Apricot (2.20) has been released. Here's a quick overview of key new features and changes:

New module - Blog

Wild Apricot now provides a built-in blog module. Your users can read your blog posts online and/or subscribe through RSS feed. This is just a first step in our rollout of this module - with the goal to deliver comprehensive solution for blogging and discussion forum. We will add commenting capability in July and we have many other enhancements under considerations.

Java Script (For advanced users)

We have enabled adding Javascript code to pages! Now you can integrate Wild Apricot with pretty much any other third-party tool you want.

Recurring events made easier, other event improvements

We've made a few enhancements to the events module. Now when adding a new event, you have the option to easily create an event by copying from another existing event.

Additionally, events now have an optional end date.

Differentiated access for site administrators

Now you can assign different access levels to each administrator (content/event/membership/donations management):

Page header customization

We've greatly improved customization of page headers. Now you can easily position pictures by simply dragging-and-dropping pictures and text boxes.

Also, users can now change their Wild Apricot URL on the fly. (if you use web address on our domain. For custom domains you can still contact us via email - and that will be soon provided as a self-service feature too)

Finally, we are rolling out our partner program and have implemented the white-labeling functionality - if you a consultant working with non-profits you can sign up for Wild Apricot and resell our hosted solution under your own brand.

As always, if you have any feedback or want to contribute to ongoing design and development, please keep it coming - via forum or email.
