Version 7.0 is nearly here! We’re currently planning to release the version in mid-June, and we’re excited for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, we’re excited to introduce some new features, including two new payments features for everyone who uses WildApricot Payments:

  • Recurring donations, so you can increase revenue by collecting donations on a regular basis.
  • The option for members and all your contacts to save their credit card details, so they can check out with just a click.

We’ll be giving you more details on these features and tutorials on how to use them once version 7.0 is released.

If you're thinking about switching to WildApricot Payments and have any questions, you can find lots of information on our Help Site, or you can get in touch with our Support team.

We're also updating the way the admin view looks. The admin view of WildApricot has looked the same for quite a few years now, and it’s about time that it got a new, more modern look.

You’ll still have all the same options and buttons available, and they’ll be in the same places, so you can continue to do everything just the same as you did before.

If you use other products in the Personify family, WildApricot will now have a similar look, so your experience will be unified.

Here’s a sneak preview of what it will look like:

May Support FAQs

This month, we focus on frequently asked support questions about our payment system, WildApricot Payments (powered by AffiniPay).

My application’s been approved by AffiniPay, so now what?

Now that your organization has been approved by AffiniPay, there’s one step left before you can start receiving online payments via WildApricot Payments. Go to the Payment settings screen and click the Connect button that appears on that screen.

WA Payments account approved

You'll be asked to log into your AffiniPay account. After logging in, you'll be returned to the Payment settings screen, where you can adjust various payment settings.

A lot of my members live outside North America. Can I still accept payments from them via WildApricot Payments?

You need to be based in the US or Canada to accept online payments via WildApricot Payments but you can accept payments from people anywhere in the world except those countries that are on the US Treasury Department's sanctions list.

Every day, AffiniPay does a batch deposit to my bank account. How can I see the details for each transaction?

Start by logging into your AffiniPay portal at click the Reports option and run the daily, monthly, or transaction reports. To view full transaction details from WildApricot, click the appropriate transaction from the list, or click the Show Payment Page Field button to view full details within the transaction list.

Hi Norma, Sorry to hear that - if you get in touch with our Support team, they can talk you through how to do everything you need. We haven't made any changes to the email wizard in the 7.0 release, so all options will still be in the same place as before: to add contacts and type a subject, click the tab titled '4. Recipients', and to send the email click the tab titled '5. Review and send'.
