Do you want more training on WildApricot?

If so, you’re in luck. During the week of July 9, we’re launching our first ever WildApricot Boot Camp, a series of five daily 90-minute webinars showing you how to use all the main features of WildApricot!

The Boot Camp is live, with Q&A sessions throughout, so you’ll have lots of chances to get expert advice from our product coaches.

By the end of the week, you’ll know how to:

  • Import your data and manage your membership
  • Set up and run your events
  • Accept and track online payments
  • Communicate with email, social features, and set up a member directory
  • Use all our other features, like the online store, mobile member app, membership cards and much more!

This Boot Camp is best suited to new admins or someone who wants to learn how to make the most out of WildApricot. If you have more advanced questions, feel free to get in touch with our Support team.

Are You Considering WildApricot Payments?

In April, we launched WildApricot Payments, our own payments processor. Since then, many of our clients have already switched. If you’re still thinking about switching, here are some reasons to consider WildApricot Payments:

  • 2.9% +$0.30 for each transaction. No setup or monthly fees like some providers.
  • We’ll handle all your support issues for payments as well as our entire software. No more dealing with the support department of your current payment processor. Now you just have one support team to contact.
  • Your members and customers will stay on your WildApricot website, instead of being directed to a third-party site to complete their payments (this is a big advantage over most PayPal options).
  • All your payments are directly transferred to your bank account within 48 hours. Get your money faster!
  • Recurring payments (aka scheduled payments) are supported.
  • To give you all of the above benefits, WildApricot has partnered with AffiniPay, a trusted and secure payment gateway that meets the highest standard of PCI compliance (Level 1 PCI Certified) as set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Once you set up WildApricot Payments, the next time a member goes to pay for anything on your website (dues, event fees, etc.), they will be directed to a secure WildApricot payment form right within your website. It will look something like this:

To make the switch to WildApricot Payments, go to your Payments settings page by logging into your account and clicking the Settings menu, then clicking Payment settings under Finances.

I hope you’ll enjoy the convenience of using WildApricot Payments!

This Just In: New Online Store Features

You can now add variants like different sizes or colors to your product. A drop-down will appear to your customers on the product details screen listing the options you have added.

Each variation your customer chooses will appear as a separate item in their shopping cart and in your product order.

At the moment, you can add only one variant per product. For example, you can add multiple sizes or multiple colors, but not both. Support for multiple variants per product will be introduced in one of our subsequent releases.

If you would like to add an online store to your site but haven't yet done so, here are the step-by-step instructions.

We’re Saving You A Support Request With This New Feature

As you begin filling out a support request, we automatically suggest help topics related to the subject you enter.

That way, we might be able to answer your question or resolve your issue on the spot, without making you wait for a reply from our support department.

The suggested help topics appear whether you submit your support request from our support portal or from the in-product help panel.

  • Barbara Jacobs -KCTM:
The Boot Camp sounds interesting but I'm unable to attend at that time. Is there some way I could listen to them later so that I might get the information?
  • Madison:
Very exciting developments, thank you so much for sharing! Webinars are a great way to engage with customers and donors beyond emails or the usual social channels. Creating interactive ways to engage with clients is a very effective way to increase engagement and found more lasting connections. https://inspiredpeople.org/

Hi Barbara, I'm glad you're interested! If you're unable to attend live, you can simply register for the webinar anyway and a recording of that day will be sent to your email afterwards.
