  • Re: Importing members--best practice?

Well in fact that did not work. Even though I marked them as archived, the import tool prevented me from loading the full database because the total number of users was above the number our account is signed up for (500 users).  Its not a big deal though--we have several users in that number that don't have email addresses, so the ...

  • Section divider

The new release is great - we can setup different fields for differenct membership level now. But we found out that if we set the data field as Section Divider, we can't set it to be used in selective levels. Therefore the section dividers are show in all membership levels by default, althought different membership levels need ...

  • Can members delete their membership?

Members can select what info they want to show in member directory. If they don't want to be a member any more, can WA provide a functional link for them to delete their membership completely?

  • Re: membership activation process

There are reasons for doing this: At least the applicant can verify if they enter their email addreas correctly; also the applicant has to be serious enought to complete the registration; in addition, make sure admin can sent renewal/ event registeration/ news letters emails to members succefully in the future.... Or if possible, we can add ...

  • membership level

I have 2 level of membership: level A and level B. I notice that on the application form page, the default choice is always Level B, which is located on the second place. Can I change the Level A as the default choice?

  • member database fields

if I set up one field type as ''Dropdown'' and ''Mandatory'', and I check the application form as a visitor, I don't see the red * beside this field. Also this field is not really mandatory, since the first option in the dropdown will be perceived as the default selection even thought the applicant didn't select any choice. It looks like ...

  • member database field/type

Currently when we customize member database field, let's say I add ''Country'' as one field, and I define the type as ''text'', which means that subcribers can enter their country name as a text, but if I want to change the type setting to other options, such as ''multiple choice'' or ''dropdown'' or ''radio button'', I can't change it. I can ...

  • Re: Customize member database fields

I see value in allowing ''read-only'' member fields editable only by admins.  I've created several fields in my trial of WA related to homeowner information (validated home address and zip code, square footage, home value, date sold, etc.) which I acquire from public government and post office sources.  I add these to their data ...

  • Re: entering new member- error message

99% This means that email is used in another member record. Use advanced search and search by email field (or keyword search, include archived records). Check user list also - currently same email can not be used for admin and member at the same time. If you still have this problem, email us member email at support@wildapricot.com and we will look ...

  • Re: email address

No, this does not create any problems. Internally we store a unique member ID so member is free to change his email, all historical records will stay intact.
