Save & Rerun Searches
Wild Apricot provides convenient and powerful search tools to look up member records and select specific groups of people (for example to export or email them). Keyword search and Advanced search are available for every account. Account plans Community and higher have the ability to save the parameters of an advanced search and instantly rerun it at any moment with one click.
Here are just some examples how this feature can come handy:
- Your organization is located in New York state but your members are scattered throughout the country. For some mailings you want to target people who live in New York City, however their postal addresses list many different boroughs. To find all such members you would need to create a search to find everyone who lives in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and so on. Now you can save this search so you can re-run it any time you need to list those members.
- Let say you have full time volunteers and part time volunteers on your membership list and you often look for both in order to know who can help when.
Any searches that you run often or you know you will be making can be stored and rerun time any time so you don't have to retype them every time.
