    online payments

    I set our account up for the advanced payments through pay-pal, yet I'm getting error messages when members attempt to pay, any ideas?

    Can you provide us with more details so we can better understand the problem i.e. is this for direct payment or express check out, member application, event registration or donation and the actual error message.

    The one paypal account we know will work for certain in advanced mode (direct payment) is the Websites Payment Pro (US) and it costs about $30 / month. If this is the account you are using then check that the API credentials you provided are correct, or re-configure API credentials as set out in advanced online payment option. Let me know if this works for you.

    ok, I redid the API credentials, we do have the Payment Pro account and I still get the same error message when trying to pay.

     

    I've used two different credit cards just to verify its not a card problem.

    System logs show that Paypal returns this message:

    "The merchant's account is not able to process transactions."

    The only suggestion is for you to contact PayPal and ask them why their system is refusing to process direct payments for your PayPal account. It looks like something is not right with your PayPal account.
