    Hiding Membership Levels

    Hello everyone,

    We would like to create an email directory for our organization, which includes names and email addresses.  Unfortunately the listing of the members' names is hyper linked and if a member clicks on the name, s/he would be able to find out the membership level of that individual.  From my understanding, there is no way to hide the membership level in the current system.

    Since our membership categories are listed by salary range ($25 for students; $40 if you are retired, $100 if your annual salary is $85, 000 and above, etc.)--this is not an option for us!!!  One of the reasons we decided to use wild apricot is because it provided us with a member directory--yet we will not be able to use this function unless the membership levels can remain hidden from view.

     Therefore, I would like to add "hiding membership levels" to the wish list!

     All the best,

    Helga

    Hiding Membership Levels

    Hiding Membership Levels is crucial  for academic associations and organizations, as we often charge membership levels based on income.  At this point we are unable to use any of the directory functions because we are unable to hide this - and the directory function was one of the key features we were looking for in a membership management system!

    This is the first time this particular request has come up but we will analyze what can be done. In the meantime we are looking for a workaround using CSS customization and will get back to you.

    Re: Hiding Membership Levels

    If you insert this CSS code via CSS Customization (http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/5.+CSS+Customization ), member level should disappear from the profile page.

    .publicContentView #idMembershipLevelContainer

    {

    display: none;

    }

    Let us know if you have any problems with it.
