Current behavior:
There is no way to send an autiomatic confirmation to the affiliate system if it is used to drive new memberships

Desired behavior:
Ability to capture the affiliate source for member coming to the application page and then send a confirmation upon successful member application.

Notes:
1) Confirmation will probably be implemented by allowing custom Javascript code to run after completed memberships
2) Need to figure out a way to distinguish when that should be sent (how would the system know where the application is originated)
3) Different processing for different membership levels is probably needed

A affiliate program intergration would be ideal. I am not real gifted when it comes to intergrating one to this site but if anyone can recommend something I would love to get this going, as I have so many request.

We do not have any current recommendations but if we come across a good candidate, we will let you know.

Also, it would be great if you could describe your perspective - how the ideal affiliate functionality would work for you - so that we can be aware of that in our search and planning of product updates.

Thanks, In another program we used each member would have their own affiliate id automatically controlled when they login to their account.

That would be great, but I am mostly looking for something where other associations, groups etc can earn$ by sending people to us to sign up.

To ideally there would be a affiliate sign up page for non-members who then can track their earnings.

Hope that all makes sense.

Vote for this! Let me tell you why in just a few words.

 MORE MEMBERS!

Our advertising cost to grow has doubled this year and then some. But as allways the best way to get more clients/members is word of mouth.

We allready pay out $50 for any type of referrals but we have no way to track it or even use any other type of affiliate program w/ Wild Apricot.

This is a high priority for us.

I dont think many have requested this simply because they dont know the benefits it can have for your association, group , non-profit.

Of course we are also about giving back, so giving a finders fee to the member who talks about us and send us more members is rewarded.

 Word of mouth is still the best advertising......it would be best to have something to track it with.

A Affiliate program is a must!

I too have been asking for this as a major implementation. my website has almost failed as I cannot advertise to my market enough, due to the size of membership area. But my affiliates could!

I use an affiliate program that is very professional in their layout, and has been working well in another venture I have.

They can be found at www.jrox.com and can be integrated in to java-script. You may need to contact their management to find ways to merge into your script.

They have a very helpful forum for their users also, I have found this much more professional compared to the script used with 1shoppingcart's affiliate section

ok I definately cast my vote for an affiliate program.....

There are many ways to integrate this script into a website, so if WA speak with

admin from jrox I am sure they will provide an easy solution to include an affiliate program.

I have 2 other websites in the construction stage that I will not host at WA only because they will be

reliant on affiliates for the site to grow, I really like this software system but with no affiliate integration

I unfortunately must use other programs.

Kim, I do not have any new information for you.

What we really need is information on what afffiliate programs people want to integrate with (including information on integration ) - so that we can analyse how to do it. Shane has suggested one program above - JROX.com - but we were not able to find integration information on that site or understand how it is supposed to work.
