    Feedburner

    We added Feedburner as you suggested in one of your blog posts, and I'm thrilled that we will soon be able to get a sense of how many subscribers we have.

    I would love a way to include the chicklets for web portals right on the New page. Is there a way to have the news description text box take HTML? Same thing for the Calendar?

    Also - now that we have feedburner setup--is there a way to disable, or change the link for the RSS feed icon on those pages so people subscribe through feedburner instead of directly?

    Thanks much!

    Re: Feedburner

    Yes,

    We have inserted the following CSS code that removes the RSS icon from Calendar and News pages.

    #eventHeader DIV.title H3 A,
    #idBlogContainer #idIntroContainer DIV.title H3 A
    {
      display: none;
    }

    Re: Feedburner

    Great! Thank you!

     Is there any chance of making the text box at the top of the page accept html?

     Thanks!

    Re: Feedburner

    Could you clarify, what text box are you referring to and on what page?
    If you are referring to Description field then no, you cannot insert HTML code in there, but if you insert URL it will work.

    Re: Feedburner

    The text box I mean is the description field for the news and calendar pages. It would be nice for it to accept HTML for various reasons, including adding links toa "Subscribe" page, and chaning the point size of fonts to match the rest of the site.

    ISSUE: It appears that the RSS link is on my calendar again. Would you be able to remove it again please?

    Re: Feedburner

    OK, we did some adjustments, it should be fine now.
    Most likely it was related to our latest update.

    Re: Description field... Yes, we are looking into this improvements as well.
