I haven't found a way to list an event that only certain membership groups have visibility to, so I'm posting this request here.  We would like to list special events that are meant only for certain membership levels (usually the higher paying ones :).  We don't want to advertise these events to the general public or certain membership groups.

Right now, we can only limit registration to certain groups, but the event is still seen by all.

Events can be filtered into a number of lists/calendar pages:

And those pages can be placed within different sections with restricted access.

As long as anyone that tries to register without qualifying gets some type of message, "I'm sorry, registration is limited to xyz members" and a note on how to upgrade membership somewhere, doesn't allowing people to see the events just give them more incentive to upgrade to a higher level membership?

I guess this depends on each organization - we have see people use either approach (hide member events / show but explain that you have to be a member to register).
