When using the Member Application or Donation widgets, after payment is sent through Paypal the user appears to be redirected to a standard Wild Apricot "Thank You" page:

This will be confusing for users as the domain is different than where they started. Desired behavior would be to redirect to a page set in Paypal Website payment preferences (Auto Return URL). Is this possible to configure?

 

We agree, this is confusing. As a result we have added this issue to our to-do list. Unfortunately there is no configuration or workaround at this moment.

We do have it in our plans but I cannot provide any specific time line at this time, my best tentative guess is Q3-4.

While waiting for this fix, do you have any suggestions on a workaround so that users aren't unexpectedly redirected to an unfamiliar site?  I'm not sure what to do at this point other than remove the capability to accept membership payments and donations online.
