    Missing Header Seperator

    Hej,

    I don't have the seperator between the header and the body any longer on my web.

    When I look at the CSS section "idHeaderSeperator" with Firebug I see most of code on the right side struck out.  When I look at the CSS code in Wild Apricot's 'Advanced Customization CSS' tool it is not struck out (nor is it in Firebug's Source code)

     As I don't understand why, I can only guess I need to know something that I don't know right now.  Anyone have any ideas why I don't have the seperator?

    Hello,

    Could you provide us with your WA site address or name to give us a chance to look at the problem closely

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Vassily,

    I hope you have had time to look at the header?  I am happy if you could return the .css file to the original. I can easily start again.

    I am correct that the file I am using is called the user.css?

    Can I put images and such in the directory http://expandingu.memberlodge.com/WebDAV/Themeand and call them from the .css file?

    Randy

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Hello,

    As you probably already see we have changed your custom CSS file (Admin mode -> Settings -> Advanced customization (CSS) ). Entry:

    #idHeaderContainer .inner
    {
     height: 100px;
    }

    has been commented out. The problem appeared on IE 7 only. Also most probably you will have to do something with idHeaderSeparator element because it is a wide white strip now.

    Also probably this link might be helpful for you:

    Hej,

     Thanks... I will continue to review that CS customization page of yours..  I will also remember to do some testing with other browsers ;-)

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Ok.

    Also we have added into your custom CSS entries:

    #membershipLevelRadiosContainerId .levelRadioItem
    {
     / float: none;
    }

    #membershipLevelRadiosContainerId .levelProperties
    {
     / padding-bottom: 10px;
    }

    This was done to fix a problem with hiding Level Prices on Member Application page under Internet Explorer. In the future we will provide a consistent solution and this will be not required

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Vassily,

    Commenting out the #idHeaderContainer.inner seemed to work for awhile, however, now does not seem to work.

    In Wild Apricot's Advanced CSS I can see that section is commented out.  But in Firefox using Firebug it is not commented out.

    Again the header seperator picture, 'gradientleft.gif', that I put in works fine in Firefox but not in IE7.  It is the same on both my XP and Vista machines.

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Hello,

    Changing

    #idHeaderContainer
    {
      height: auto;

    to

    #idHeaderContainer
    {
      height: 200px;

     fixes the problem. At least everything is fine for my IE 7, IE 6 and FF 2.

    Re: Missing Header Seperator

    Thanks...

    This is interesting because I reduced the size of the #idHeaderSeperator by 18px a week ago.

    Thanks again for a quick reply...
