    PayPal

    Big problem-

When my registrants want to use their credit card, they are getting pushed to PayPal. This is not good...they are saying it is too much trouble to sign on.

How can we go directly to Credit Card equally with PayPal? They do not want to create a PayPal account.

    Please help me.

    Re: PayPal

This does happen if they have already used this email or credit card on PayPal and created a PayPal account. From that moment on PayPal will require them to login into that account and will not allow to simply use a credit card. This is a security/fraud precaution by PayPal and we have no control over it.

In all other cases users will have a choice of either entering a credit card - or using PayPal account. (If they have never had a PayPal account, credit card entry screen will be the default).

Let us know if this explains the situation.

    Re: PayPal

Hello - thank you for explaining this.  i also have the same situation and our members do not want to be pushed into signing up for PayPal even if they've used it before.  i noticed that PayPal has two options (both of which have a set up fee & monthly fees):  PayFlow Pro and PayFlow Link.  this seems to be the only way to ensure that online customers aren't forced to sign up for PayPal or use their already existing PayPal account.  PayFlow Pro allows the customer to make the purchase on the business website and stay there and PayFlow Link takes them to PayPal but gives them the option to just pay directly with their own credit card and then return the business site.  smart cookies - those PayPal folks - i didn't realize this when i signed up for both Wild Apricot and PayPal so we have to figure out another solution.

    Re: PayPal

We are actually working now on implementing the Direct Payment option, it should be released end of March, I hope this will be of use to you.
