    If I create an additional field in the member registration form for an event, how can I get that information onto the registration confirmation email? I can see how to edit the email but I don't know what the new field is called.

    Right now you can only select from the fields shown on the right when you edit that email template. Custom fields can not be added. We will consider it for the future.
