Current behavior:
Once registered, a person can not change anything in his registration, this can only be done by the administrator
Desired behavior:
At the very least, ability to view own registration(s) and reprint confirmations
ideally,
ability to adjust the registration (for example, select different
sessions or correct a spelling mistake in address or phone)
Possibly, ability to cancel a registration
Open issues/questions are:
1)
Handling monetary aspects of edits/cancellations. Having system issue
refunds automatically is not desirable, which means that a
sophisticated interface is required to present all
changes/cancellations to the administrator, have him issue refunds
where appropriate and record/link to each change.
2) Having administrators notified of changes is desirable
3)
Ability to administrators to lock all or certain registrations (e.g.
if reservations for facilities have been finalized and can not be
changed)
