Description box inaccessible

I'm trying out your software for free for a month. I'm trying to see if I can add an event, and it will not let me. It says the description field is mandatory but doesn't allow you to put any text in it's box. Could you fix this so I can create an event.

Could you provide more details about your computer environment. What Operating System do you use and what browser (with version).
