    Non-Member Emails

I'm wondering where we stand on the issue of sending blast emails to non-members.

I'm planning for next year's events and I'll want to send an event notification of next year's event to this year's event participants.  They are not members.

I would be delighted to do:

    1. Import email addresses as "new" with a unique code (perhaps a special Company name?)
    2. Perform advanced search on unique code.
    3. Blast email
    4. Export names with unique code and set the Archive column to "delete"
    5. Import the list so the system deletes all the names.

I can do all of this now with the exception of item 5.

Another possibility is to provide a second Wild Apricot account used just for blast emails. Again. we'd need a way of mass-deletes some or all of these non-members.

    Re: Non-Member Emails

Unless you delete this year's event, then you should be able to setup automatic event notices to this years event participants. If you are going to import / export / blast email then simply creating a 'guest member' level would be the best way to go. If you set the records to archived before you import, then you can simply delete all archived records (to achieve point 5).
