I would like one more level of admin access that is more restrictive than the Website Editor level. For lack of a better term I'll call it the Content Contributor level. Members at this level would be able to:
- Edit existing pages (i.e., add content to existing pages) -- ideally, I'd like to give them specific page-level access so they can only edit pages that they are cleared to edit.
- Create new events (optional at admin's choosing)
They would not be able to:
- Edit page header or footer
- Add new pages
- Delete pages
- Edit metatags
- Add restricted access sections
- Edit admin settings for events, member applications, donations, member directory, blog, discussion forum
The purpose of this level is to keep our non-technical committee heads from mucking up the website. The more restricted they are to their specific functional area, the better and simpler for everyone.
