    member profile access setting

In WA release history page We see that WA will have a new feature "member profile access settings (by field) for public/members separately" . What does it mean exactly?

We would like to have this function:

Only the registered members can see other members' contact info such as email and telephone. Instead of seeing the email / telephone number, non-registered members can only see a link " Contact this member", when they click this link, they will be asked to register the membership first.

or they can send this member a short messge throught our WA website without knowing this member's email.

    Can we realize this function?

The function we are adding is ability to specify access to each field as Nobody/All/Members vs. current Nobody/All.

The 'protected' contact form capability has not been on our list yet and I have made a note to consider it for the future.

Re protected contact form - we have added this to our roadmap.
