    It would be nice to include an Event Gallery (Flickr?) whereby event attendees
     could put up pictures of the event or FOR the event. Thumbnails, etc. with captions and to/from fields for messages. Might be good to have a checkbox for viewable to public vs. members/attendee's only.

    Yes, we are thinking in this direction - to have an 'Event's materials' page for presentations/pictures etc.

    Could it be setup like widgets for blogs? That way people could add different types of stuff. Galleries, donations to affiliated, but not WA groups, etc.?

    Definitely, we are investigating this. People already do that on WA - that's the main reason we provided HTML button. People have been embedding youtube videos, photobucket albums, wufoo forms
