Hello Apricots,

I'd like to be able to change the text of the email that goes out to every person upon their enrollment in an event.  I want to provide them with additional details, such as links to the complete itinerary etc.  This is the information I don't want them to have/see until after the registration.

Two possible ways we can implement this:
1) In event details add a field "extra event details". This field will be included into automatic registration confirmation email.
2) Full-blown event registration email customization. We still have to add the same extra field as in #1, then also provide interface to let users chose how the event registration email should be constructed.
#1 is much easier/faster to implement.  #2 is more robust/flexible (but more complicated)

OK, we will add#1 into our plan and I will post an update here. It might happen some time in August - we are working on a lot of other things already.

Hate to say it, but I agree with implimenting #1 now (Functionality vs Freedom) with the idea that #2 will come later.
