A lot of useful information about and for Volunteers, i.e. Workshop for Volunteers Coordinators, Volunteers rights and responsibilities, Recruitment and so on.

The concept is good and site is nice-looking. However, free service is for one ZIP code only - which does not make since for an organization in any city. Multi-zip postings cost money - 50 cents per each ZIP code. And I could not understand from their services page if it requires a paid account ("Community Leader", ~$9/month)
And their search interface is not very easy to use - too many complicated fields and options. I am sure they could have substantially improve the site by simplifying the search.

At a first glance, this approach seemed a bit of overkill - where do we find time to go through all these steps to recruit a volunteer? However, after reading and trying to apply this framework I found it quite useful as a way to think through all the necessary steps:
