I wonder how many people would like to have the ability to assign one individual to multiple membership level categories.  For instance, let's say you have an individual that is a paying member, but they also serve on the Board of Directors and on a committee.  It would be great if we could set up Board Member, Committee Member and paying member as separate membership levels and then assign an individual to multiple selections.

 Maybe you can reply to this and if we get enough threads they will add it to development.

Goal in the other thread is to only have one record per member and then be able to note their involvement in different sub-groups, like the board of directors, within their member record.  Other request would then allow you to utilize the records to perform actions such as emails on that sub-group.

I think this new feature should address your need.
