    Sorting membership levels

    Current behavior:

Membership levels are sorted automatically by membership fee (low to high)

    Desired behavior:

Enable manual sorting of membership levels.
(This is mostly important for the membership application page)

    Re: Sorting membership levels

We would like to have this feature!

We also want to be able to set up the default membership level for different application page.

    Re: Sorting membership levels

Yes this would be great and we would really like this function added with also the added option to set up parent membership levels with children membership levels.

    Hi James,

    Thanks for your input.

I am quite interested in your point re parent/child membership levels. We are thinking about something like this and I would love to get a detailed example from you to check against our thinking. Please elaborate.

    Re: Sorting membership levels

I can give you an example where I think parent/child levels would help:

Our organization has regular/personal memberships and business memberships. I don't like having them all on the same page - it makes the application form too long and potentially confusing, and there's minimal potential overlap between the two categories. It would be great to have new members initially choose between those two parent categories in order to display the appropriate child levels.

Clicking "Regular Membership" would display only the relevant personal categories:

    Individual
    Family
    etc.

Clicking "Business Membership" would display only the relevant categories:

    Basic
    Supporter
    Sponsor
    etc.

    Re: Sorting membership levels

sabobird - what yoг have described can be done in the current system. Simply add two membership application pages and set one to only display regular memberships and another one business memberships.

    Re: Sorting membership levels

Excellent! I missed the little radio buttons at the bottom of the page when I first set it up. Thanks for the tip - splitting the two categories works much better.
