    Abilitity To Email A Payment Reciept

    To be able to send a receipt of payment to an individual contact/member.

    This is one of things we are working to address in the scope of financial management redesign (which we expect to release in 3.5 in June)

    I would appreciate additional comments on the desired workflow.

    My current thinking:

    - receipts for online payments (we already send them)

    - receipts for manually entered payments at the time of entry

    - receipts for manually entered payments at any later point (resending receipts)

    I was specifically thinking of receipts for when a manual transaction is entered as well as being able to re-send a receipt if necessary.  My appologies, should have been more specific on the original post.

    We are so looking forward to the changes in the financial tracking for renewals in WA... We will never replace Quickbooks with the WA software- ( I doubt anyway). But I am SO looking forward to being able to invoice through WA for both new and renewing customers, change the amount of an invoice and resend, as well as email receipts easily!

    Looking forward to summer in so many ways... this is surely one of them!

    This will apply to all receipts.

    Not in the initial release - its scope is already bursting at seams. And there are tons of details besides just a simple field.

    So I would suggest creating a new thread specifically for that.
