    Support for Safari browser [653]

The buttons at the top of page (left of "Tips" and "Support") don't show up in Safari, making your app completely non-functional.

Seems to work OK in Firefox.

Re: Entire app broken in Safari

John, you are right, our app is not working properly in Safari, we just completed a full testing cycle. We are reviewing the problems and trying to figure out how to deal with them - I hope we can do it within Q3. For now Firefox on Maс should work (I use it myself). It has some small problems but no show-stoppers. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Entire app broken in Safari

I'm hoping you can get this fixed sooner rather than later. Safari is the default browser for the mac and people who don't use computers much don't know how do download and use another browser. Mac is also growing in popularity and there are new people on it all the time. Please try to fix the Safari problems quickly!

     Thanks.

Re: Entire app broken in Safari

You are right - but the reality is that it is petty hard to fix. We are addressing this step by step - latest release yesterday Sep 12 has addressed a lot of issues but there is lots more to do. Our system uses a lot of client-side code and this code already does different things for IE and Firefox and adding Safari (AND maintaining it with our monthly release cycle) is tough. So for the near future (3-6 month) Safari can not be used for many admin functions, sorry...

Re: Entire app broken in Safari

Our developers are currently at work on making the administrative sections of Wild Apricot compatible with Safari.

We hope to have this compatibility included in version 3.4, which is scheduled for release in March 2010.
