2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference: Focus on Tools and Strategies

Nearly 1200 people working in nonprofits and technology will come together from around the world for the 2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference in San Francisco, April 26-28, 2009.

More than ever, technology is helping nonprofits tap into and build communities to create social change. Now, more than ever, our stakeholders are able to connect, share, and act on our behalf from around the globe or around the corner.

At this NTC, we’ll pay special attention to the tools and strategies that are reshaping how we go about doing our work, by empowering our clients and stakeholders.

The full agenda for the conference includes an impressive program of breakout sessions, with something for every nonprofit. Smaller organizations who are just starting to establish a presence on the Internet may be especially interested in these:

  • Where Are Your Stakeholders and What Are They Doing Online? (Michael Cervino | Beaconfire Consulting)
  • 25 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Website (Allan Pressel | CharityFinders)
  • Website Usability Testing for Small Orgs (John Kenyon | John Kenyon Technology Consulting)
  • Fundraising 123 (Alia Ott | Network for Good powered by Groundspring)
  • Optimizing your Web landing pages to convert more donors, activists, and subscribers (Nick Allen | Donordigital)
  • Building and Sustaining Vibrant Online Communities (Pam Harper | March of Dimes)
  • Confessions of a Social Media Campaigner (Carie Lewis | The Humane Society of the United States)
  • Branding Your Organization Across Platforms: Creating a Seamless Experience for Your Website Visitors (Nancy Schwartz | Getting Attention/Nancy Schwartz & Co.)
  • Integrating Online and Offline Communications (Tompkins Spann | Convio)

Registration for NTC 2009 is now open, with special pricing for NTEN members. For more information, visit http://nten.org/ntc.
