NPT Offers Free Corporate Philanthropy Search Portal for Nonprofits

A new online search portal just launched by The NonProfit Times, in partnership with internet search company NOZA,  gives nonprofit fundraisers free access to more than 4,300 searchable records of major corporate gifts to U.S. charities valued at $1 million or more.

NPTGrantSearch allows users to search by name or by cause, view, and save information about the corporate donor, recipient organization, year of donation, and size of gift.  The database is built on publicly available internet-based information such as annual reports, newsletters, campaign honor rolls, press releases, event sponsor lists, and so on, and will be updated monthly. No registration is required.

While this free search service is limited to U.S. donations valued at $1 million plus, an optional paid subscription gives access to NOZA's complete database of some 30 million records of individual and corporate charitable donations in the United States.

"NOZA is pleased to be teaming with The NonProfit Times who so well serve the critical need for nonprofits to stay informed about the impact of philanthropy sector news and practices," said Craig Harris, Founder and CEO. "It is gratifying to combine our strong suits to help nonprofits who are seeking new sources of seed funding or new major gift prospects."
