1. 2008 Association Technology Conference & Expo
The three day conference that will be held on January 31st through February 1st, 2008 in Washington, DC brings together an excellent group of thought-leaders, pioneers, and the next generation of users to discuss major trends and technological innovations that will impact your organization now and in the years ahead. 2. 2008 Nonprofit Technology Conference
The 2008 conference, Building Community: Connections around the globe and around the corner, will be held on march 19th through 21st in New Orleans. It will bring more than 1,000 people together for connecting, learning, educating, and, so that we don't forget how much fun technology and changing the world are, playing. Collaborators, colleagues, and clients in the nonprofit and technology sectors will have the opportunity to share resources and learn about what works, what doesn't work, and what is in the works when it comes to using technology to help make the world a better place.

Day of Service: The Day of Service is an opportunity for nonprofit techies to give something back to the community where the Nonprofit Technology Conference is held. Affinity Group Meetings: Affinity Groups are groups of people with a common interest or identity that come together at the conference to talk about things that interest them. Getting involved in these meetings is a great way to share experiences, tips, and ideas and meet with people just like you – other people who are webmasters, consultants, or bloggers, to name a few.
The Science Fair: Held on Wednesday, March 19
from 3pm to 8pm, the Science Fair is your chance to meet the folks providing the tools and services that make our sector go. Featuring over 70 companies and organizations, the Science Fair is free of charge and open to the public.
Breakout Sessions. More than 90 breakout sessions across five tracks will cover everything from raising money with text messaging to building a better newsletter to microformats.
Plenary Sessions. Get your dose of headliners and important information that affects all of us in the nonprofit community over breakfast and coffee. On Thursday and Friday morning, leaders in the sector will bring new ideas and inspiration to the community. This year's plenary speaker will be David Pogue, the personal technology columnist for the New York Times. David will be speaking on Thursday, March 20th at 8:30 am.

Who should attend?
Just because the word "technology" is in the title doesn't mean the Nonprofit Technology Conference is just for geeks. The conference will address common issues faced by nonprofit leaders, program staff, development professionals, IT staff, Circuit Riders, and other technology support providers, and topics on the agenda will span a broad range of technology expertise. Anyone who is interested in how technology can be used to help nonprofit organizations go farther, faster, or be more user-friendly is welcome and encouraged to participate.
