How are non-profits using Web 2.0 and social networking tools?

Carnival_3I’m hosting the Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants on Monday, January 14th. This is my first time to host the carnival on this blog and I'm very excited about it. For those new to blog carnivals, they are a collection of advice and resources that consultants and other support organizations offer to nonprofits through their blogs each week.

The theme is, How are non-profits using web 2.0 and social networking tools and simple tips on using these various tools.

Here's what to do:

1. Some time between now and Saturday noon (EST), January 12th, load your post, or select one from the recent past that fits the bill.

2. Then send me your post's URL (the post permalink, not the blog’s URL) at npc.carnival@yahoo.com

3. On the afternoon of Monday, January 14th, I'll pick 7 posts to highlight.

That's it and thanks in advance for your time and effort.

Congratulations! I'd love to add to the carnival, but in all of our 6-month-long Web 2.0 experiments, we have not yet implemented a blog for me to post to! It's soon on our agenda...

Can't wait to see what you post!

Dear Soha,

I haven't seen your blog since it was redesigned. It is looking absolutely stellar.

I think yours is the only blog I have seen that doesn't have a space for e-mail.

As to Kate's comment above, she should look into getting a blog, but I would love to hear her organization's experiences as well. Maybe she could write some notes that you could post in the text of the Carnival's post or as a comment? There's ways to get around it.

Best of luck in the last days of your pregnancy.

Maya
