Want to build a better blog but don't know where to start?

Michel Martin over at the Bamboo Project Blog is doing great work with blogging lately. Last month, she participated in Problogger's 31 Days To Build A Better Blog challenge and shared some useful results. After wrapping up the challenge, she decided to keep it going by setting up a community at Ning.

"We are a community of bloggers committed to working together to improve the quality of our blogs and the blogging experience. Our goal is to discuss blogging best practices and providing weekly challenges to help us continue to grow as bloggers."

She is inviting others who are interested in learning and growing as a blogger to join the community and I certainly have.

One of the great benefits of the community has been the support of other bloggers and the fact that we've been continuing to do weekly challenges to grow our blogs. It's an interesting mix of people, most of whom come from the edu-blog and nonprofit worlds, with some personal and business bloggers thrown in for fun. What has amazed me has been the helpfulness of the community and their ongoing engagement. They adopt new people immediately and are ready and willing with good, targeted advice. It's really a great group--as you know. :-)

Again, thanks for writing about us and I hope people really will join us--we're having a great time!
