Non-profits are not like businesses

Having worked with several non-profits over the years, I know for a fact that non-profits are not like businesses. They don't have a large financial department filled with accountants, analysts and administrators to prepare professional reports with precise numbers. But their supporters and stakeholders do demand more and more clarity and precision - which can be very hard to achieve on a limited budget and relying on volunteers that have many tasks on their hands and use a combination of IT systems. So you can imagine how challenging it can be to come up with an up-to-date list of donors or members, and reports on donations and fundraising event registrations.

But new web technologies like our own system Wild Apricot are coming to the rescue - by providing a one-stop organizing system to track all of that and integrate it into one website!
