The latest Wild Apricot - New Enhancements and Features

We keep listening closely to your ongoing feedback and improving Wild Apricot. We are happy to announce our second Wild Apricot update in 2007 (and 13th overall since the beta-version launch in July 2006).

Here are the key items in this latest update:

Enhancements to the member import and export feature
We have significantly improved the import/export feature to make the process easier. Import is now a step-by step wizard. Import and export functions use the same file format - this allows you to make changes in the member database by exporting data, opening them in Excel, making the needed changes for all the records and importing them back again.

Member registration feature
Before this release, it was pretty difficult for site administrators to register members for events (instead of members registering themselves) - administrator would have to log out etc. Now right from the member profile they can see the member's past and current event regisrations and quickly register him/her for another event.

Event payments report
Now administrators can get a summary of financial statistics for any event - payments report. The report shows the number of participants, total event registrations and total registrations by member level (including the public). The report also separates pending and confirmed attendees and whether they paid online or payment was processed by the administrator.

Email past event attendees and donors
We have added the option for you to send event notices automatically to all your past events attendees and donors (in addition to members). Now you decide who to contact from your whole database about your upcoming events.

Setup member levels visibility on different screens
We have added the ability for you to setup different member levels visibility. Initially by default, all membership levels were visible on all online forms (member application, member profile and event registration). Now you can select which member levels can be viewed by your members and the public and on which form. For example, you can create member levels "Volunteers" or "Board members" with free membership - but not have them show up on the member application form so that only the administrator can set this member level.

We hope everyone will benefit from these new features, and we look forward to your ongoing feedback to continually improve Wild Apricot.
