As you might know from our previous news posts, we use so-called Agile development methodology for our ongoing enhancements of Wild Apricot. Enhancements are planned in regular releases. Each release is two or three weeks, followed by 1-1.5 weeks of very thorough testing of all new features - as well as retesting everything already in the system. We are now in the testing phase of our latest release (and the work has already started on the next one!).

Multi-level pages:
Many users have been asking for this feature - and it is finally here! Quite a bit of work, especially since we had to retrofit it into all existing themes (templates). Now you can have webpages nested in up to three levels:

Dashboard - vital stats of your organization
Now you can get a quick and convenient overview of what is going on - without going through several administration screens. Dashboard displays a summary of your member database by level, event registrations for the next three events, latest donations and information.
(And if you would like to see some other vital pieces of information on the dashboard - we greatly appreciate your comments and ideas in our online discussion forums or via email support@wildapricot.com )

Getting started checklist
Learning to use a new system does not have to be a big challenge. To help people jump-start their exploration of Wild Apricot we have created a Getting Started checklist on the Dashboard page:

Spellchecker
An integrated spellchecker will help you to ensure that your webpages look professional and that they will not cause embarrassment for your organization:

Emailings to Members
You can always export your member database from Wild Apricot to your desktop at any moment, and then email members from
a dedicated email newsletter system. This will probably continue to be the best option for all your major emailings, when you need advanced templating, tracking and other capabilities.
But now we have built a simple emailing feature right into Wild Apricot so that you can email just one - or a group of - members right from the system:

Formatting of event details:
Now you can use all the formatting styles, add pictures and documents right into the event details:
