This blog is for volunteers, webmasters and administrators of associations and nonprofits. We discuss issues and trends in web technologies that help your organization do more with less.

The blog is brought to you by Wild Apricot. Our web software helps you manage the 'boring stuff' like membership and contact records, payments, donations, website updates, event registrations, mass emails and more.

Wild Apircot demo at DemoCamp Toronto

DemoCamp is an informal geek conference event, started by the TorCamp group, which is a "chapter" of BarCamp - see also Barcamp blog. It is a gathering of technology enthusiasts who get together to show new and cool products to each other, help each other and network.

We have presented Wild Apricot and discussed key product goals:
- Integrated functionality for association and non-profits to avoid manual copy-paste export-import insanity
- Usability / ease of use for normal people, not only geeks (Instant search of the Member Database was demoed and discussed)

(More pictures of DemoCamp8)

A side note - Wild Apricot was used by the organizers (David Crow and the gang) to handle event registration for Demo Camp.

Cool event, we met very interesting people, including Amber MacArthur and Leo Laporte
Event was recorded - both audio and video - so we will post the link when it becomes available.
