You may have heard that we recently conducted an online survey to gain insight into small and largely volunteer-led membership organizations. We’re now reviewing the findings to prepare our Small Membership Insight Report. We’ve noticed that some of the respondents took the opportunity to make software-related queries in one of the open-ended questions. And since these questions won’t be answered within our survey report, we thought we’d answer them for you here.
Here are a few of the Wild Apricot software-related questions we received through our Small Membership Insight Survey as well as our responses:
We’d really like to see more Quickbooks integration over and above the import/export option currently available. Has there been any progress on this issue, and where can we add our comments / follow the status of this improvement?
We have not planned any further Quickbooks integration for the upcoming release Version 5.0, or the next release, Version 5.1. In fact, there is not currently a general Wishlist thread for this, so if you would like to see further Quickbooks integration -- you have to let us know! We created a new thread for this, so please add your thoughts if you would like to see this feature developed. We need more details!
How can we redesign our website within Wild Apricot with professional help? Every designer we have contacted so far does not have experience with the Wild Apricot platform.
You’re in luck -- we have a directory of third-party partners who are all very familiar with Wild Apricot, and have many examples of custom designs they’ve done for other Wild Apricot clients. You can check out the directory here: http://www.wildapricot.com/partners, and submit a service request to discuss your project with them.
We would like to have multiple email addresses per record. We sell family memberships (using the bundle membership feature [link]), and both spouses would like to receive emails from our organization. Has there been any progress on this issue, and where can we add our comments / follow the status of this improvement?
We don’t have a timeline for this feature at the moment. We have a few threads on our Wishlist regarding bundle memberships right now:

How do you send invoicing directly from Wild Apricot? Is there any way to customize what the invoice looks like?
Invoices can be manually emailed from Wild Apricot: when an admin opens any invoice, there is an “email” button in the user panel. Invoices are also automatically sent when they are generated during the membership workflow (for example, when a member registers for an event, or applies for membership registration). Please see our help document “Invoices Overview”.
As for customizing, you can certainly make them look different! See the help document “Settings and customization of invoice receipts” for details.
