While most of us were (hopefully!) enjoying our weekend, a dedicated team of techie Apricots were hard at work launching version 4.4. This release includes a number of updates and enhancements, including:
Secure web access with HTTPS/SSL
- While payments have always used secure encryption, we've added the option to use SSL encryption throughout your site. Sites that use custom domains have the option of purchasing a custom security certificate that we can install for a separate charge.
Email templates
- We now provide a large selection of email templates. Our hope is that this will make Wild Apricot more attractive for newsletters and other communications.
Sales Taxes
- Sales or value-added tax schemes are now supported for membership and event payments. Each organization can customize these according to their region and circumstances.
Updated PayPal and Google payment options
- We've updated the options for PayPal and Google to keep up-to-date with their newest enhancements, including PayPal Express Checkout, PayPal Direct Payment and Google Wallet.
