Merry Christmas! We have been pretty busy in advance of the holidays. Our big news this month has of course been the launch of Version 4.3, which happened very nearly right on schedule, on December 14. We won't rehash all the changes here, check out our
previous blog post for an overview.
A few small glitches accompanied this release, and we'll publish a few fixes over the next week or two to patch these problems (our first hotfix was published yesterday already!), but on the whole we're pleased with how it has gone. To stay up-to-date with the known issues and how they are being addressed, we've created
a forum thread to post resolution status and/or workarounds.
For those on the team not involved in fixing bugs, the focus is now fully on Version 4.4, scheduled tentatively for May 2012. While we are still defining exactly what will go into this release, secure site access (HTTPS) and newsletter templates will definitely be two of the major focus areas.
A note about our support schedule over the holidays: because Christmas and New Years Day are both falling on weekends this year, we are going to have a small support staff monitoring things on our Boxing Day (Monday the 26th) to address any emergency problems, and then regular hours through the rest of the week. But don't worry, all our hardworking Apricots are getting a break, we're just staggering our schedules to make sure you're covered in case your merry-making is happening at a different time!
