Wild Apricot News: Free Wild Apricot Webinar Helps Business Coaches, Women Entrepreneurs Launch Member-based Organizations

Toronto, Ontario - August 12, 2010 - A free webinar for women entrepreneurs wishing to generate new income streams by creating a membership organization is being offered Thursday, August 24, 2010 by Wild Apricot (www.wildapricot.com), the leading provider of membership management and website building software for small to medium associations, non-profits and other organizations.

The "Standing Out, How to Differentiate Your Group" webinar will equip life coaches, business consultants and marketing and PR professionals and other entrepreneurs with information they need to start a business networking group to quickly supplement their existing businesses.

Webinar co-presenters Tera McHugh, founder of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Jay Moonah of Wild Apricot will discuss the tools needed to build a member-based group and ways to stand out among other networking organizations.

"In this challenging economy, entrepreneurs are searching for creative ways to boost business by offering new services to customers," said  Moonah. "Tera has proven how forming your own professional group can serve as a new revenue stream."

"Women entrepreneurs can avoid a huge investment of time and resources by using the right member-management software to create membership-based organizations," said McHugh. "Wild Apricot's membership-management and website builder tools helped me quickly grow AofWE to nine groups with more than 200 members and participants in cities around the U.S."

McHugh offers AofWE group leaders a turn-key system that includes a web site template that can be customized for each AofWE local group, as well as automated member and event registration, email marketing, member database management and more. McHugh is also using Wild Apricot's platform to launch a national online feature that enables AofWE members to connect with other members in different cities.
