Movie Mondays for Fundraisers

501videos-movie-mondaysIf you’re a fundraiser looking for a great way to jumpstart your work week, check out Movie Mondays.  It’s a free weekly series of video interviews with fundraising professionals from across the non-profit sector – a mix of practical tips, in-the-trenches experience, and creative ideas to help you meet all kinds of fundraising challenges.

This week, for example, in “Raising more money by thanking donors 3 times,” Bob Linz (executive director of One Call For All) talks about the 3-step program donor appreciation program that helped raise his non-profit’s revenues by 9% over last year.  And in last week’s video, The Fundraising Coach Marc A. Pitman told of a lesson learned from angry corporate sponsors, and how the experience helped him to write better sponsorship letters.

Interested?

Sign up, and every Monday morning you’ll get an email containing a link to a new short video from Chris Davenport of 501 Videos.  Each new video will be available to watch free online for 4 weeks. (“That’s usually enough time to share them with staff, volunteers, and board members.”) After its free public run, each video is then moved into the members-only archives, accessible for a modest fee to help cover the costs of production.
